WAC is a public map built from transportation data published by agencies and traveler-information platforms. These pages explain where the map data comes from, how WAC represents it, and what limits users should keep in mind.
The goal is transparency without turning the documentation into a scraper manual. We describe provenance, freshness, attribution, and interpretation. We do not publish request recipes, extraction walkthroughs, or operational details that could increase load on upstream services.
